Rental Agreement
Effective April 2026.
1. Parties and scope
This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Suncoast Totes (“we”, “us”) and the customer who reserves equipment through our website (“you”). By completing checkout you agree to the terms below.
2. Equipment provided
We provide the package you select (a set of reusable plastic totes and at least one dolly) for the rental period you choose at checkout. Our standard rental period is 14 days and may be extended at the add-on rate shown at booking.
3. Delivery and pickup
We deliver during the 2-hour window you select and pick up on the date you select at booking. You are responsible for providing safe, legal access to the drop-off and pickup point.
4. Damage & Loss policy
- Missing tote: $20 per tote not returned.
- Damaged tote: $15 per tote returned with damage beyond normal wear.
- Missing dolly: $60 per dolly not returned.
- Dolly damage: $30 per dolly returned with damage beyond normal wear.
- Refundable security hold: $50 per booking, released upon satisfactory return.
Normal scuffs, scratches, and light staining are expected and not charged. Structural damage, missing parts, biological contamination, or damage caused by chemicals, paint, or heat falls outside of normal wear.
5. Cancellations and changes
Cancel at least 48 hours before your delivery window for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a scheduling fee. Date changes are free when requested at least 48 hours in advance and subject to availability inside 48 hours.
6. Your responsibilities
- Do not pack more than 65 pounds into a single tote.
- Do not pack hazardous, flammable, or perishable materials.
- Do not drill, cut, paint, or otherwise modify the equipment.
- Do not remove the equipment from our approved service area without our prior written consent.
- Out-of-area and out-of-state use is prohibited unless we expressly approve it in writing before delivery.
- Empty the totes and stack them near a safe pickup point on your scheduled pickup day.
If equipment is moved outside our normal pickup area without approval, you remain responsible for returning it to an approved Suncoast Totes service ZIP. Unauthorized removal outside our service area may result in a $250 recovery fee, plus any additional recovery, transportation, retrieval, collection, and replacement costs we incur.
Equipment taken outside the State of Florida without our prior written consent may be treated as unreturned equipment and charged accordingly, in addition to any recovery or collection costs.
7. Payment
Payment is processed at checkout through Stripe. A $50 refundable security hold may be placed against your payment method. We may apply fees from Section 4 to that hold and release any remaining balance after pickup.
8. Liability
We are not responsible for damage to your belongings caused by packing choices, overloading, or environmental conditions. Our liability is limited to the rental fee paid for the applicable order.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.
10. Changes
We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking governs that booking.
